![]() I am not questioning if Obsidian is the best tool (I think it is) but more reflecting for my own use case. Please note - I am asking is Obsidian the optimal tool for a user who wants to spend less time in the tool than living life (IRL). ![]() If I am just looking for a tool that allows me to quickly capture notes, Readwise integration, PARA organization abilities, Good UI and I can just collect and store notes until I need them again, do you think Obsidian is the optimal tool for that use case or is there a better solution? However, I've realized that to get the value of Obsidian I need to spend more time inside the tool, linking, writing and building connections. I used to use Evernote, never personally experienced issues with the software, but jumped shipped because of all the awesome tools (like Obsidian) developing at lightning speed and the internet making me feel like Evernote is an uncool/outdated tool. For context - I have jumped around to every single app.
